  On Saturday as guests of Yorkshire Bank five of our juniors were treated to see the YB40 final at Lords. Lucy Yates was lucky enough to be asked to be the mascot for Nottinghamshire and was seen on Sky TV as the captains tossed up before the game.   Our Junior players have enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of meeting and being coached by England skipper Alastair Cook.   In 2008, for the first time in the club’s history, we fielded four Saturday XIs in addition to the five existing junior sides, continuing the expansion of the club’s activities and giving an opportunity for even more members to participate in the sport each weekend.  The 2007 season ended with a mid table finish for the 1st team in Div 1, relegation from Div 3S for the 2nds and a mid-table Div 5S finish for the 3rds.
